uncorrelated cayman 2026
november 2 - 3, 2026
AGENDA
Monday - 2 November 2026
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Single-Family Office Session
Azure South
A closed, invitation-only morning for single-family offices, held before the main conference opens. The room is built for principals and chief investment officers, and the agenda covers what a family office actually has to decide: investing and capital flows, governance, liquidity and the rate environment, and the global tax and residency picture facing internationally mobile families. Attendance is vetted and limited; places are confirmed individually. The room then joins the main program for the afternoon.
Speaker: Gordon Grant Curtis, Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer, CI Investments | SFO, Ticino, Switzerland
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Registration & Welcome Coffee
Collect your badge, take a coffee and meet other attendees before the program opens on the Main Stage.
1:00 PM - 1:10 pm - Opening Remarks
A brief welcome from your conference hosts, and what to expect across the two days.
Speaker: Geoff Marcus, CEO & Co-Founder, Uncorrelated Alts
1:10 PM - 1:25 pm - Intro to Cayman
Cayman Finance represents the Cayman Islands financial services industry, and this short address opens the program with the view from the jurisdiction itself: where the industry stands today, the work underway on regulation and reputation, and what the island is building for the managers and investors who domicile here. A scene-setter for the panel that follows.
Speaker: Cayman Finance
1:25 PM - 2:05 pm - The Jurisdiction — Cayman as the Premier Funds Domicile
Cayman’s scale as a funds domicile is well known. What an allocator committing to a ten-year lock-up wants is a straight answer on stability. This session sets regulatory, legal and manager perspectives side by side to examine where the real friction sits — economic substance, director registration, beneficial-ownership access and annual fi ling obligations — how the regime has changed in recent years, and how Cayman’s case holds up against the jurisdictions competing for the same funds.

2:10 PM - 2:50 Pm - Private Credit & Direct Lending
This room has largely settled the question of whether private credit belongs in a portfolio. The harder questions are where spread still exists now that the largest platforms have taken the obvious middle-market deals, and what happens in a workout — the point at which a multi-billion-dollar platform and a specialist lender look least alike. Panelists spanning platform scale, niche and asset-based lending ,and the allocator’s seat discuss origination, documentation discipline and credit selection in the current cycle.

2:55 PM - 3:35 PM - Wealth Management Panel
How does a wealth manager with a real private-client book decide to put a client into alternatives? This panel works through sizing, the liquidity profile against clients who can call on Monday, the operational side of a capital call inside a trust structure, and how an off shore structure changes the answer against a US onshore account. With on-island private banks and trust companies allocating for internationally mobile families, the structuring conversation here is a practical one.
Speaker: Callum Ward, Client Relationship Officer, OAC Capital Advisors
3:35 PM - 3:50 PM - Networking Break
3:50 PM - 4:30 PM - LatAm & Emerging Markets
Runs alongside Azure North, 3:50 PM–5:25 PM — at the same time, not after.
Cayman is the pipe through which capital moves in both directions with Latin America: Cayman feeders and holding structures are how deals in the region get funded from Miami, Geneva and Madrid, and equally how Latin American families, managers and companies hold and deploy capital outside their home markets. This session looks at where returns are being found today, what the structure looks like end to end, and where the real risks sit — currency, local enforcement, a mid-cycle election. Managers who deploy, allocators who buy, and the people who build the structures.
Speaker: Antonio J. Lopez, President, Access Global
3:50 PM - 5:25 PM - Investor Insight Tables
Azure North
Runs alongside Main Stage, 3:50 PM–6:00 PM — at the same time, not after.
Allocators continue to reshape capital flows in private markets, yet many managers still misunderstand how they evaluate strategies and build relationships. The Investor Insight Tables create candid, small-group settings where allocators — family offices, endowments, RIAs and wealth managers — host themed tables and share how they allocate, what they prioritize, and how a manager stands out. Each rotation opens with a short overview, then informal discussion. Runs alongside the Main Stage; seating is limited and assigned in advance.
4:35 PM - 5:15 PM - Why Cayman: Residency, Relocation & Lifestyle
Runs alongside Azure North, 3:50 PM–5:25 PM — at the same time, not after.
For many in the room this is the session they booked the flight for, and it is built to answer one question with specifics rather than survey a set of services: what it actually takes to move yourself, your family or your fund’s operations to Cayman, and what the first eighteen months look like. The residency routes and their thresholds, what a substantial presence means for a family office, schools, healthcare and housing supply — and first-hand accounts from people who have made the move.

5:20 PM - 6:00 PM - Investing in AI
Runs alongside Azure North, 3:50 PM–5:25 PM — at the same time, not after.
Where the morning session looked at AI as a tool inside a fund, this one treats it as an asset. Is AI a sector, or a factor running through every sector? Where in the stack — models, infrastructure ,applications, power — is there actually a return? And the question rarely asked from a stage: how much of the private AI markup is real, and what happens to a 2026-vintage AI fund in a drawdown. The last session of the day, and built to be argued.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Welcome Reception
Drinks on the Pom Pom rooftop to close day one, with music at a conversational volume and a room built so that allocators, fund managers and service providers can meet properly rather than in passing.
Tuesday - 3 November 2026
9:00 AM - 9:10 AM - Day Two Opening
A short welcome back from your hosts, and a look at the day ahead.

9:10 AM - 9:55 AM - State of Alts: The Macro Outlook
An allocator opening day two wants one thing: what changed in the last twelve months that should change the 2027 allocation. This panel presses for concrete answers — where the rate path lands, what that does to private credit spreads and private equity exit math, and which claims to uncorrelated returns survive a normalized-rate world. Because this room is domicile-adjacent, it also asks what the macro and policy picture means for off shore fund formation specifically, not only for US equities.

10:00 AM - 10:40 AM - AI and Alternatives: How Fund Managers Are Using AI Tools
A working session on AI inside a fund, bringing together fund managers who are using specialized AI tools and the service providers building them. The conversation covers what is actually in production— research pipelines, deal screening, operations workflows — what it costs, what implementation really takes, and where a fund’s time and money are best spent twelve months in. Managers describe what they use; the providers building these tools answer for where the technology genuinely is today.
Speaker: Kevin Bull, Co Founder, CapitalAdvisory.ai
10:40 AM - 10:55 AM - Networking Break
10:55 AM - 11:35 AM - Tokenization & Digital Assets
A session about plumbing rather than price. For an allocator the questions are whether a tokenized share class genuinely reduces subscription friction, who the transfer agent is when the chain is the register, and what happens to redemption rights when a contract is upgraded. The panel walks through a real tokenized fund issued out of Cayman end to end, is honest about what tokenization has not yet solved, and asks whether settling capital calls and distributions in a regulated stablecoin is operationally realistic today.

11:40 AM - 12:20 PM - Why Tech Should Come to Cayman
The case for building a technology business in the Cayman Islands, made by the people doing it. Fund formation and holding structures are already here; newer is a cohort of founders who have moved their operating companies to the island, and the special economic zone infrastructure built to receive them. This session covers what relocating actually involves — concessions, work permits, hiring, and the practicalities of running a company from Grand Cayman — and what the island is still building out.

12:20 PM - 1:20 PM - Keynote Lunch Fireside

1:20 PM - 2:00 PM - Caribbean Real Estate
An investment session rather than a property showcase. Can Caribbean real estate be underwritten as an asset class, or is it a lifestyle purchase with a yield story attached? The panel takes on the two numbers that decide most Caribbean deals — construction cost and insurance — along with hospitality as the only product at institutional scale, the buyer base for branded residences, and what an exit realistically looks like. Institutional capital, on-island cost data and a developer’s view in one conversation.
Speaker: Nathan Whigham, Founder and President, EN Capital
2:05 PM - 2:45 PM - Family Office Panel
Most family office panels end in agreement that families are long-term, patient and relationship-driven. This one is built to be useful instead: what gets a manager past the first call, what gets them cut, how the family office alternatives book has changed over the last two years, and where these investors are underweight and would take a meeting. Not inspiration, but a usable description of the buying process from the people who do the buying.
Speaker: Gordon Grant Curtis, Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer, CI Investments
SFO, Ticino, Switzerland
2:45 PM - 3:00 PM - Networking Break
Azure Foyer
3:00 PM - 3:40 PM - Crypto & Blockchain
An asset-allocation session that happens to be about digital assets. Nearly everyone in this room has been asked by an investment committee whether to hold any — and if so, how much, in what vehicle, and who custodies it. The panel takes on sizing and role within a portfolio, what the correlation profile really looks like when everything sells off at once, the wave of corporate and treasury exposure and how those structures behave in a drawdown, and what today’s regimes permit an institutional allocator to do, through a Cayman lens.
Speaker: Danielle Pienaar, Independent Director and Advisor, Verdant Management | Founder, Women in Blockchain Cayman Islands
3:45 PM - 4:25 PM - Insurance-Linked Securities & Reinsurance
Catastrophe risk does not care what the equity market did, which makes insurance-linked securities the cleanest uncorrelated story in alternatives — and one most allocators in the room do not own. The panel answers three questions plainly: what an ILS allocation looks like in a portfolio after recent loss years and the current rate cycle; how to underwrite a manager whose edge is catastrophe modeling rather than security selection; and why these vehicles sit in Cayman segregated portfolio companies in the first place.
Speakers to be announced
4:30 PM - 5:10 PM - Fund Finance — NAV Loans & Subscription Lines
Subscription lines and NAV facilities now follow a fund across its whole life, and almost every manager in the room is either a borrower or about to be asked by its LPs why it is one. The conversation has moved from whether NAV facilities are risky to what they are actually for, and that is where GPs and LPs part company. With an LP in the seat, this panel covers disclosure, LPA terms and lender behavior, and why Cayman vehicles sit at the center of these structures as borrowers and pledgors.
