Gordon “Grant” Curtis
Mr. Curtis is the Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer for CI Investments, SFO of Ticino, Switzerland. He has served in such capacities beginning in late 2003. Since that time, assets have grown significantly through a variety of platforms and strategies.
The Family Office has wealth roots (family business) dating back hundreds of years and has also prospered from its private business holdings in addition to market driven activities. Among the many asset classes of interest, the Family has been an early pioneer in the healthcare, energy technology sector and proprietary financial exchange and trading platform venues. Specifically of interest are its holdings in technological advancements related to impact investments.
Prior to Mr. Curtis’ affiliation with the CI Investments, SFO Family Office, he has had vast experience with the public markets and banking world since 1978. He has consummated transactions and opportunities across the globe including in areas related to: energy, real estate, mining, healthcare, media, transportation, engineering, lighting, industrial components, software development, hospitality, food and beverage, banking and finance.
In addition to his current private sector finance career, Mr. Curtis has been affiliated with several Major Investment Banks, Pharmaceutical Giants and Publishing Companies. He has also worked with many charitable organizations as an advisor as well as for specific causes and in particular has been a donor of anonymity.
Mr. Curtis is also involved with several Universities relative to commercialization of novel discoveries and as an advisor on a number of scholastic fronts especially for scientific advancement.
Over the years, Mr. Curtis has placed high regard on the accumulation and dissemination of knowledge. He has attended and received professional schooling achievements, certificates, awards and degrees from 17 different academic institutions including some of the world’s top recognized universities and colleges. Areas of study have included: Finance, Banking, Law, Medicine, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Schematics and Design, Chemistry, Agriculture, Psychology, Economics & Aviation.
