Paul Byles, Founder and Director of @FTS Cayman brings over 25 years’ experience in financial services, regulation and economic advisory. A former Head of Policy at CIMA, he helped develop regulatory policy across multiple financial services sectors including investment funds and drafted the original Cayman Islands Anti-Money Laundering Guidance Notes.

He also served for six years on the Cayman Islands Special Economic Zone Authority, including as Chairman, overseeing more than 150 applications from international businesses, including fintech, blockchain and digital asset companies.

Today, Paul leads FTS Cayman, which helps investment funds and digital asset businesses and their directors establish in Cayman and provides ongoing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, policies, training and operational support. FTS partners with legal counsel, audit firms and independent directors to deliver a seamless solution to setting up and operating in Cayman.
