Matt Ellis is Director of Capital Markets at Lhava, a global proprietary trading firm specialising in digital asset markets, where he leads the firm's growing Cayman Islands team and works with foundations, investment funds, venture capital firms, founders and family offices on liquidity and yield strategies.
With over a decade of experience spanning capital markets, investment management and wealth advisory, Matt previously held roles at a family office and in banking both Cayman and Toronto. His experience evaluating global investments and private-market opportunities, combined with his current role at Lhava, provides a unique perspective on the intersection of Cayman's private wealth and technology sectors, as well as the practicalities of growing an international business from the island. He has also served on the board of CFA Society Cayman Islands for three years.
