Vik Mittal is the Managing Member and CIO of Meteora Capital. Over Vik’s 20 years on the buy side as a principal investor, he has deployed capital across event driven investment strategies ranging from merger arbitrage/event equities, SPACs, converts, event-driven high-yield/loans to structured financings.

Prior to Meteora Capital, Vik was an investment professional and partner at Glazer Capital (“GCM”), having joined GCM in 2005. Until the end of 2021, Vik was responsible as one of only two Portfolio Managers (“PM”) for investments made in event driven and arbitrage strategies on behalf of GCM. Prior to transitioning to the buy side, Vik was part of the founding team that launched Raymond James’ TMT investment banking practice in Palo Alto, CA focusing on mid-market M&A and private placements.

Vik earned a B.S. in Finance from University of Florida, summa cum laude, and earned an M.B.A from NYU Stern School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
