Sondra Wenger is a senior real estate investment executive with more than 20 years of experience leading institutional capital formation, portfolio strategy, and investment execution across U.S. markets. She currently serves as Head of Capital Markets at KBS, where she leads the firm’s institutional fundraising strategy across separate accounts, co-investments, and commingled funds.

In her role, Mrs. Wenger builds long-term capital partnerships with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and family offices, aligning investor objectives with innovative structures and market-driven investment strategies. As a member of KBS’ senior executive leadership team and Investment Committee, she works closely with acquisitions and asset management to support strategic portfolio growth and capital deployment.

Over the course of her career, Mrs. Wenger has led investment teams responsible for more than $17 billion in closed real estate transactions, helped raise $2.8 billion in committed capital, structured more than $9 billion in joint ventures, and participated in six fund formations. Her experience spans core, value-add, and opportunistic strategies across both debt and equity investments, with a track record covering more than 50 U.S. markets.

Prior to joining KBS, Mrs. Wenger held senior leadership roles at CBRE Investment Management, CIM Group, General Electric, Equity Office Properties Trust, and AMB (now Prologis), where she consistently worked at the intersection of capital markets, acquisitions, and portfolio strategy.

Mrs. Wenger holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, graduating with honors. A former Certified Public Accountant, she brings analytical rigor and discipline to investment leadership. She serves on the boards of CA South Development, American Ventures, and the New York Restoration Project, where she co-chairs the Advancement Committee, and is active in the Urban Land Institute as Membership Chair of the Urban Mixed-Use Development Gold Council.
