Santini Wei is a University of Pennsylvania alumna based in New York City, with interests spanning corporate governance, family enterprise, and philanthropy.

Inspired by her father’s board leadership at several publicly listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges (SSE: 600716; SZSE: 002608, etc.), she has developed a keen interest in board oversight, governance frameworks, and equity value creation. She is a frequent speaker on these subjects and on emerging developments in the global business landscape, including having delivered remarks on “Supply Chains and AI” alongside Paul Triolo.

She is a member of CINGS (China Institute Next Gen x Serica), a nonprofit organization that convenes leaders across business, finance, and philanthropy to foster dialogue on the evolving role of the next generation in business and society.

Committed to continuing her family’s legacy of philanthropy, she seeks to advance her family’s tradition of giving. Her family and affiliated entities have made multimillion-dollar contributions to charitable causes, including major natural disaster relief, childhood disease support, and infrastructure development in China. These efforts include contributions associated with the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake and the 2016 tornado and summer monsoon flooding in Jiangsu Province, China.

She is also an advocate for social justice and pro bono initiatives in the business and legal industry. She and her affiliated entities are sponsors of the American Foreign Law Association, a New York-based organization dedicated to promoting the understanding of international law.

Based in New York City, she has a longstanding interest in European intellectual history, Francophone literature, and the arts. In her spare time, she enjoys engaging with the works of Marguerite Duras, Lord Byron, Leo Tolstoy, and other luminaries of the classical literary canon.
