Salvatore M. Buscemi is a seasoned investment executive and author recognized for his sharp execution in private credit, commercial real estate, and early-stage venture capital. He currently serves as CEO and Co-Founding Partner of Brahmin Partners, LLC, a private multi-family investment office managing direct investments across high-performing businesses, industrial real estate, and venture-backed companies in life sciences and technology.
Mr. Buscemi is also CEO of Dandrew Partners Capital Management and Managing Partner of multiple direct investment vehicles focused on basis-driven opportunities in real estate, credit, special situations, and private operating companies. His investment leadership spans both institutional and entrepreneurial spheres, including the co-founding of a distressed whole loan fund backed by a $2 billion Park Avenue investment manager and the Oasis Fractional Real Estate Equity Fund, one of the earliest institutional funds targeting broken, fractionalized mortgage assets.
In 2018, he launched Encore Ventures, an opportunistic vehicle designed to capitalize on special-situation investments in private companies led by proven operators with audited exits.
Brahmin Partners’ portfolio includes celebrated names such as SpaceX, Stripe, 25Madison, Thrive Bioscience, and AviveAED (the youngest FDA-approved medtech team to date). Notable exits include Singlife (2.6x return, Q1 2024) and FDA-accelerated approvals for SciTech Development (20 days, April 2025). The firm’s portfolio reflects disciplined underwriting, deep co-investment alignment, and a long-term philosophy rooted in downside protection.
Mr. Buscemi is also the author of three influential books, including Making the Yield, Raising Real Money, and Investing Legacy, which offer rare insights into elite capital raising and the investing psychology of the world’s wealthiest families. He began his career in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and currently resides in Miami, Florida.
