Maurice Berkower brings over 40 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services, with a career spanning both domestic and international financial markets. He began his professional career with a mid-sized regional accounting firm in New Jersey, where he rose to the level of partner before establishing Berkower LLC. Today, Maurice serves as CEO of Berkower LLC and as Co-Founder and Director of Rankin Berkower (Cayman) Ltd., where he is a leader of the respective Firms’ national and international alternative investments practice groups.

The Firms’ client base includes onshore and offshore hedge funds, private equity (including credit and real estate) funds, digital asset funds, investment advisors, and securities broker- dealers. He is widely recognized for his expertise in the alternative investments industry and has played a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex accounting, tax, and regulatory matters.
