Massimo Paone serves as Executive Director and Banker in the New York office at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He works closely with a diverse range of successful clients, including retired business owners, corporate M&A attorneys, partners at major consulting and professional services firms, sports executives, and professional athletes. He is a powerful ally in delivering the breadth of J.P. Morgan’s resources in a holistic and targeted manner.
Serving as a trusted advisor and confidant, Massimo provides clients and their families with insightful guidance in investment strategy, asset and liability management, market trends, and analytical intelligence. He is recognized for his attentive approach, listening to all family dynamics and collaborating to over recommendations that align with each client’s unique objectives.
With over two decades in the financial services industry, Massimo has held senior leadership roles across global capital markets, investment management, and private wealth advisory. He has extensive experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, overseeing the development and management of portfolios ranging from millions to billions of dollars at leading institutions such as TD Private Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Regal Investment Advisors. Massimo’s experience spans portfolio construction, alternative investments, ESG strategies, and business development, consistently driving asset growth and delivering innovative investment solutions.
Massimo holds an MBA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. He is a CAIA® Charterholder and an active member of the CAIA Association. Dedicated to giving back to his community, Massimo serves as a Varsity Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the New York Catholic Football League and has recently volunteered at Iona Preparatory High School.
Massimo and his wife, Lucia, reside in New Canaan, CT, with their two sons, Alessandro and Cristian. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing football together, and planning their next adventure.
