Charles Lorum is a cross-border investment and market-entry advisor who works with U.S. companies and investors as they evaluate, enter, and scale across East Asia. As Deputy Head of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, he partners with founders, C-suite executives, and investment principals on go-to-market strategy, corporate structuring, regulatory positioning, and cross-border expansion, supporting clients that use Hong Kong as a platform for regional headquarters, capital markets access, and engagement with mainland China.

Prior to InvestHK, Charles held senior leadership roles including Principal at Mimshead Consulting and Executive Director of Nordic Innovation House, where he advised and supported high-growth companies across North America, Europe, and APAC. He has worked closely with executive teams and investors at critical inflection points—helping organizations navigate regulatory, geopolitical, and market complexity, secure venture and institutional capital, build scalable operating models, and form cross-border partnerships that unlock new markets. He is widely regarded as a trusted advisor to leadership teams translating uncertainty into actionable commercial strategy.
