Carlos Cabrera is the Founder of JOIA Investments a single-family office he established in 2016 to channel his lifelong expertise in the futures and equity markets. Since 1998, Carlos has been a dedicated allocator of capital and through JOIA he continues to partner with a select group of emerging and established trading managers. His deep roots in the industry have  also allowed him to serve as the exclusive advisor to a prominent European-based family office, a role built on decades of trust and proven strategy.

Alongside his work at JOIA, Carlos brings over 30 years of perspective to his role heading the Institutional Prime Services (IPS) team at ADM Investor Services, Inc. (ADMIS). Where he leads a dedicated group that provides tailored execution, clearing, and prime brokerage solutions, acting as a committed partner to institutional clients as they build and support alternative investment portfolios.

Carlos began his journey in the futures industry in 1993 and has spent the last two decades in leadership roles including serving as a Managing Director at Jefferies and Head of Prudential Bache’s North American futures division. Today, he remains deeply engaged in the trading community, driven by a passion for identifying talent and navigating the complexities of the global markets.
